Lucile Vigouroux, MSc, award-winning equine scientific author
A passionate advocate for the horse, Lucile writes and publishes educational articles to bring equestrians the latest research about their horses' health, performance, rehabilitation, nutrition, and more.
Lucile's background in the equine veterinary field allow her to take highly-technical scientific information and compose simple, easy-to-understand articles for the general equestrian public. She works with industry-leading publications including The Horse Magazine and EQUUS Magazine. Her work as earned her five cover features, an Equine Media Award, and the Student Award from American Horse Publications in 2019 and 2021.
In addition to her journalism endeavors, Lucile has also published two research abstracts from her own studies, and presented her data at scientific conferences in the US and UK. She has also taught as an Adjunct Instructor of Equine Studies at Centenary University, creating a brand new course titled "Equine Journalism and Media" in 2020.
